Terms and Policies

Trial Lesson: Customers are entitled to one (1) free trial of each lesson package. Free trial classes can only be rescheduled once (Written notice must be provided at least 24 hours before).
Time Slot Reservation: Following your trial lesson, we'll reserve a weekly timeslot for you. Reply to your Next Steps email to confirm and receive your invoice. Payment is due one (1) day before your first scheduled class to officially secure the timeslot. Unpaid timeslots are released after this date.
Purchasing of Lesson Packages: Classes are purchased in packages of four (4) prepaid lesson credits
Auto-Billing Cycle: Avoid scheduling conflicts by enabling automatic payments. Auto-billing allows for lesson packages to be automatically renewed every four (4) weeks to keep your spot secured. Auto-billing can be managed through students’ MyMusicStaff Family Account Page, or through emailing our office.
Payments: All payments must be made directly to Haharana, not to instructors.
Billing Disputes: Lesson packages are non-refundable once purchased. Refunds or account credits may only be considered at Haharana’s sole discretion in cases involving verified emergencies, serious unforeseen circumstances, criminal or unlawful conduct, or inability to provide scheduled services over an extended period of time. Standard scheduling issues, instructor lateness, rescheduling, or isolated lesson cancellations do not qualify for refunds and will instead be resolved through make-up credits or rescheduled lessons where applicable.
Disputes & Chargebacks: Customers agree to contact Haharana directly regarding billing concerns before initiating payment disputes or chargebacks with their financial institution.
-
Notice to Pause: If a student wishes to temporarily pause lessons, they must send a written notice at least twenty-four (24) hours prior to their next payment. Once pause is initiated, students have thirty (30) days to return before their time slot is forfeited.
Time Slot Retention: Reserved lesson time slots may only be held for up to thirty (30) days during a pause in services. After this period, the reserved time slot may be forfeited and future scheduling will be subject to instructor availability.
Discontinuation: Customers who wish to discontinue lessons must notify Haharana before the completion of their final scheduled lesson. Failure to provide notice before the next billing cycle may result in automatic renewal charges.
-
Minors: A parent or guardian must be present for at-home lessons with students under 18 years of age; otherwise, the instructor will not conduct the lesson and the lesson credit may still be considered used.
Make-up Credits: Each package comes with one (1) make-up credit. Make-up lessons must be scheduled at least twenty-four (24) hours in advance and completed within thirty (30) days of the missed class. The usage of make-up credits requires active enrollment; credits are non-transferable, have no cash value, and expire if enrollment ends.
Late Student Arrival: In the event that the student arrives late to a scheduled lesson, the lesson will still end at the originally scheduled time and the lesson credit will be considered used. Extension of lesson time is solely at the instructor’s discretion.
Instructor Cancellation: In the event an instructor cancels a lesson, the instructor must issue a make-up credit.
Late Instructor Arrival: In the event that an instructor arrives more than ten (10) minutes late to a scheduled lesson, the student will receive a make-up credit.
Online Lessons & Technology: Students participating in online lessons are responsible for maintaining a stable internet connection, functional device, and suitable learning environment. Technical issues on the student’s side do not automatically qualify for refunds or make-up credits.
Recording of Online Lessons: To ensure the compliance of safety policies during online lessons, all online lessons will be recorded and securely stored within our system. Classes will not be conducted if the student does not consent to this policy.
-

Violation of this policy may result in immediate termination of services.Zero-Tolerance Safety: Haharana maintains a zero-tolerance policy regarding unsafe, inappropriate, or hostile environments. Instructors reserve the right to leave or cancel a lesson at their sole discretion if they believe conditions pose a risk to their health, safety, wellbeing, or professional standards. In such cases, refunds will not be issued.
Pets & Home Environment: Customers are required to accurately disclose the presence of pets in the home during registration and to notify Haharana of any future changes. For the safety, comfort, and health of instructors, pets must be reasonably secured or controlled during lessons when requested. If undisclosed pets, excessive allergens, unsafe conditions, or aggressive animals are present at the lesson location, the instructor may cancel or leave the lesson immediately at their sole discretion. In such cases, the lesson credit may still be considered used and refunds will not be issued.
